After attending the District 2 (D2) Conference in 2013, the Daemen College Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA) returned with a hopeful idea that soon became a reality. With the cooperative efforts of our Daemen community, CASE ASAP Conference 2014 has reached its maximum potential. Daemen is a close knit campus and the potential to exchange relevant knowledge, networking abilities, events, and ideas is an attainable opportunity.
Every spring semester the Green and White Society organizes “Campus and Community Clean Up”. The event involves student volunteers and participating community members that join together to form groups distributed in zones around the campus and the community. These groups collect trash in their designated zones including recyclables and compostable items. Participants are awarded “green” favors of reusable grocery bags, reusable water bottles or recycled travel coffee mugs.
